Very few things distinguish South Asia, like South Asian cinema. As much as South Asian cinema distinguishes itself from films from other nations, films from various South Asian regions also offer their own unique styles of storytelling.

For this reason, Convenience Store™ is excited to introduce Convenience Store Cinemas. Throughout the year, we will host these screening events featuring South Asian stories and by South Asian storytellers across the subcontinent and diaspora. These events are intended to gather the community and introduce a third space for visitors to meet, have meaningful discussions, and, most of all, watch great movies together.

At these events, you will also find original and curated Convenience Store™ products to interact with, as well as be offered a variety of South Asian-inspired snacks prepared by Convenience Store™ and other local South Asian-led businesses.
